Why Looty Pool Was Created
Traditional lottery pools can become difficult to manage when participation, payments, tickets, and drawing details are handled through separate messages or informal records. Looty Pool was created to bring those important details together in a more organized experience.
The goal is to help organizers manage their pools responsibly while giving members better visibility into the pools they join. Joseph Salmond, Creator of Looty Pool
I created Looty Pool because I believe playing the lottery is more exciting when we do it together. I wanted to build a place where people could come together, join a pool, follow the tickets, and share the excitement of every drawing.
Looty Pool is about more than joining a pool. It is about community, teamwork, hope, and enjoying the experience together.
I also wanted our losing tickets to have the opportunity to do something positive. Losing tickets will be donated to participating charities, helping support organizations that serve our communities.
That mission to give back is one of the reasons I created the Looty Foundation. My goal is for the Looty ecosystem to bring people together, create useful services, and help support communities along the way.
